Front Office Staff (Hotel Reception)

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Front Office Staff member to join our luxury resort in Port Blair. The role is on-site and involves being the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out experiences and supporting the overall front-desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and allocate rooms.
• Handle reservations, update guest information, and process payments.
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email and in-person, and coordinate with other departments to fulfil requests.
• Maintain accurate booking records, billing statements and front-desk reports.
• Keep the front desk area organized, presentable and compliant with hotel policies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Experience in hotel front-office or reception roles.
• Knowledge of hotel management or reservation systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
