Front Office Receptionist

About the role

The Front Office Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre in Hyderabad. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a professional and welcoming demeanor to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients and visitors, creating a friendly first impression.
• Manage appointment scheduling, registrations, and patient check‑in processes.
• Answer phone calls, provide accurate information about services and procedures, and handle basic inquiries.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a tidy reception and waiting area, and support documentation and billing tasks as needed.
• Assist with queue management and resolve routine customer queries while adhering to confidentiality and data‑accuracy protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience in front‑office or receptionist duties, including visitor handling.
• Typing speed of 25‑30 words per minute.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear spoken English and proficiency in the local language.
• Basic written communication skills.
• Graduate degree or formal training in hospitality, healthcare administration, or related fields is an advantage.
• Familiarity with healthcare or diagnostic settings and ability to work in shifts if required.
