Front Office & Guest Services Supervisor

About the role

The Front Office & Guest Services Supervisor ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out operations, delivers exceptional service to guests, and supports the front‑office team at Marriott’s Vagator Beach property.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Set up accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rate codes.
• Handle cash, vouchers, paid‑outs, balance receipts and secure the bank at shift start and end.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing logs, and notify loss prevention of any theft reports.
• Provide guests with property information, directions and assist with special requests, including accessibility needs.
• Train, evaluate, counsel and motivate front‑office staff while acting as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment policy.
• Maintain safety standards, personal appearance, confidentiality and protect company assets.
• Use computers and POS systems to enter and retrieve information, answer phones professionally and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related hospitality experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

• Proficiency with POS systems.
