Front Office Guest Service Associate

About the role

Join the Holiday Inn Express team in Gurgaon as a Front Office Guest Service Associate. You will be the first friendly face guests encounter, ensuring a smooth check‑in/out experience and delivering IHG’s True Hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning visitors.
• Manage bookings, upsell services, and promote enhancements to the stay.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures, issue room keys, and manage safety deposit boxes.
• Record guest preferences, respond to messages, requests, and concerns promptly.
• Assist guests with billing issues, local information, and coordinate with management when needed.
• Follow safety protocols, report incidents, and wear required protective gear.
• Maintain a professional appearance as a brand ambassador and stay informed about daily events.
• Support colleagues with ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic literacy, numeracy and computer proficiency.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• High school diploma (college degree optional).
• Minimum one year experience in a front‑desk or guest‑service role.
• Physical ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lb (23 kg).
