Front Office Executive

About the role

The Front Office Executive is the first point of contact for guests at our Kolkata property. You will manage check‑ins and check‑outs, ensure accurate billing, and provide guests with information and assistance throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Set up guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards data and ensure correct rate codes.
• Secure payment, handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs and charges.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and manage receipt balancing.
• Provide directions, property information and fulfill guest requests by coordinating with other departments.
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports.
• Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling and coaching team members.
• Maintain safety standards, personal appearance, confidentiality and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems and basic computer operations.
