About the role
The Front Office Executive will manage the reception desk and ensure smooth daily operations at the front office. This position requires strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities to create a professional and welcoming environment for visitors, employees, and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, delivering a positive first impression.
- Operate the front desk and telephone switchboard, answering, routing, and making calls as needed.
- Maintain staffing and functionality of the reception area during office hours.
- Handle conference and meeting room bookings efficiently.
- Respond to general inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Manage business‑card ordering for staff according to company procedures.
- Oversee housekeeping of the reception area, keeping magazines and newspapers organized.
- Promote a friendly and welcoming office atmosphere.
- Coordinate with security personnel on security and emergency procedures.
- Assist with emergency response actions as required.
- Support purchase‑order creation, invoice tracking, and ordering of office essentials.
- Provide administrative assistance to other office functions when needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in a front‑office, receptionist, or customer‑facing role within a corporate setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional demeanor with discretion handling sensitive information.
- Customer‑service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
