Front Office Associate – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

The Front Office Associate is the first point of contact for guests at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle payments, and provide accurate information to enhance the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit, and credit cards.
• Manage check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges, and balance receipts.
• Answer guest calls, messages, and requests, coordinating with housekeeping for room readiness.
• Provide parking guidance, dispatch bell or valet staff, and give directions to local attractions.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, verify special requests, and ensure report accuracy.
• Complete cashier and closing reports using the hotel’s computer system.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies, maintaining a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and commitment to guest service standards.
