Front Office Agent

About the role

The Front Office Agent is the first point of contact for guests at our property in Pune. You will manage check‑ins and check‑outs, handle payments, and provide accurate information to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest reservations, assign rooms, and issue keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards.
• Manage check‑out procedures and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Answer guest calls, record requests, and coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness.
• Provide parking information, dispatch bell or valet staff, and give directions to local attractions.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, verify special requests, and ensure report accuracy.
• Complete cashier and closing reports, cash guest checks, and balance the cash drawer.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies, maintaining a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous demeanor.

Required skills

• Basic cash handling and payment processing.
• Proficiency with standard computer reservation systems.
• Ability to generate and interpret daily operational reports.
