Front Office Agent – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

The Front Office Agent is the first point of contact for guests at our hotel in Pune. You will manage check‑ins and check‑outs, handle payments, and provide accurate information about the property and local attractions. This role requires a friendly, professional attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards.
• Manage check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges, and produce daily arrival/departure reports.
• Answer guest calls, record requests, and coordinate with Housekeeping for room readiness.
• Communicate parking procedures and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed.
• Provide guests with directions and information about the property and local points of interest.
• Complete cashier and closing reports, cash guest checks, and balance the bank at shift start and end.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
