About the role
The Front Desk Manager/Executive will lead the daily operations of a 35‑50 key backpacker hostel in South India. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure seamless guest experiences while coordinating with all hotel departments.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee front office, housekeeping, F&B, engineering, security and other functions in line with SOPs.
- Supervise both blue‑ and white‑collar staff, ensuring high service quality and operational standards.
- Handle guest escalations, grievances and resolve issues promptly.
- Liaise with local authorities, health, fire and safety agencies, as well as external vendors.
- Support pre‑launch activities and drive continuous improvement across all operational areas.
Required profile
- Hospitality graduate, post‑graduate or diploma.
- 1‑3 years of experience in hotels, hostels or guest houses.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and brand standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management abilities.
- Willingness to relocate anywhere in Southern India and high attention to detail.
