French Teacher - Secondary

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated French Teacher for secondary students who will foster holistic development, discipline, and wellbeing while delivering high‑quality French language instruction. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing curriculum, as well as contributing to the broader school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver French lessons in line with the school’s teaching strategy.
• Prepare curriculum documentation, lesson plans and ensure timely feedback on student work.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and support preparation for board and internal assessments.
• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment and uphold discipline policies.
• Engage students through varied teaching methods, field trips, guest speakers and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers for effective curriculum delivery and school development initiatives.
