Freelance Faculty for West Bengal PCS Exam Preparation

About the role

We are seeking a freelance faculty member to deliver high‑quality instruction to aspirants of the West Bengal State PCS examination. The role involves covering subjects such as Polity, Geography, History, Science and Economy, with a focus on conceptual clarity, exam orientation and state‑specific relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lectures, doubt‑clearing sessions and revision classes aligned with the West Bengal PCS syllabus.
• Prepare and discuss classroom notes, handouts and reference material for the assigned subjects.
• Design, set and evaluate tests, practice questions and mock exams to monitor student progress.
• Integrate previous‑year question trends and exam patterns into teaching.
• Use examples from West Bengal and India to make sessions engaging and exam‑relevant.
• Provide individual academic guidance and feedback as needed.
• Coordinate with academic and content teams for scheduling and material development.
• Participate in orientation sessions, workshops, seminars and promotional academic events.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Stay updated on changes to the PCS syllabus, exam pattern and current affairs.

Required profile

• Strong command of the subject(s) with a clear understanding of West Bengal State PCS and UPSC exam patterns.
• Graduation or post‑graduation in a relevant discipline; candidates with State PCS/UPSC Mains or interview experience are preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in competitive‑exam coaching (online or offline) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Bengali.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and relate them to practical, exam‑oriented examples.
• Comfortable using digital tools for teaching, test creation and student engagement.
• Positive, student‑centric attitude with a strong sense of responsibility for academic outcomes.
