About the role
Bank of America’s Global Business Services in India is building a Strategies, Analytics & Process Integration team to enhance fraud detection and reduce losses. The Manager will lead the development of advanced fraud strategies using statistical and analytical techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new fraud strategies employing decision trees, random forests and other quantitative methods to identify emerging threats.
- Identify and integrate new internal or vendor data sources to enrich fraud detection processes.
- Optimize existing detection rules to reduce false positives and improve ROI.
- Create ad‑hoc and standardized MIS reporting for fraud performance.
- Collaborate closely with Fraud Technology partners to implement detection solutions.
- Maintain deep expertise in application fraud for credit cards and deposits.
- Proactively manage fraud risk, responding to immediate threats while anticipating future vulnerabilities.
Required profile
- Strong background in fraud analytics and risk management.
- Experience with statistical modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external data vendors.
- Knowledge of credit‑card and deposit application fraud.
