Fraud Strategy Analyst – Account Takeover & Device Fraud

About the role

Bank of America’s Global Business Services team is looking for an experienced Fraud Strategy Analyst to strengthen defenses against Account Takeover (ATO) and Device Fraud across our products and channels. You will design and implement data‑driven strategies that differentiate genuine customers from fraudsters, supporting both financial transactions and non‑monetary events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance fraud strategies focused on account takeover and device‑based risks using statistical and analytical techniques.
• Leverage deep knowledge of banking products, customer journeys, and digital channels to pinpoint fraud vulnerabilities.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses of complex fraud and scam scenarios, generating actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate fraud controls into product and process designs.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies and continuously refine them based on emerging threats.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in fraud detection or risk analytics.
• Solid understanding of banking products, digital channels, and customer behavior.
• Ability to translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations.
