FP&A Manager – Finance Team

About the role

Busuu, a leading EdTech company within the Chegg family, is looking for an experienced FP&A professional to lead financial operations for its Finance team. The role focuses on optimizing FP&A workflows with AI, building critical financial models, and supporting month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and design AI‑powered automation opportunities across FP&A processes, including model building, variance analysis, forecasting, scenario planning, and report generation.
• Evaluate AI tools such as Claude, Cowork, and data orchestration platforms, develop proof‑of‑concepts, and recommend implementation approaches.
• Lead the design and implementation of FP&A data workflows, reporting infrastructure, and KPI dashboards.
• Act as the liaison between FP&A and Accounting, ensuring alignment of deliverables and data requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain core FP&A models (P&L analysis, revenue bridge, cost tracking, profitability by segment).
• Develop and own the rolling cash‑flow forecast and working‑capital model, providing analysis on liquidity and payment‑term impacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in a fast‑growing technology environment.
• Strong ability to translate business metrics into financial statements and vice versa.
• Independent judgment on model structure, assumptions, and granularity.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and auditability.
