Founding Recruiter – Bangalore

About the role

Cartesia is looking for its first Recruiter in India to build and scale the hiring engine for its fast‑growing AI startup. Based in Bangalore, you will partner with leadership across research, engineering, sales, marketing, operations and customer success to attract top talent that aligns with the company’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for all Bangalore‑based positions, from sourcing to offer closure.
• Design and implement interview processes, including interview plans, rubrics and assessment criteria.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team goals and craft tailored hiring strategies.
• Create compelling outreach messages and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
• Build diverse pipelines through sourcing, referrals and creative channels.
• Manage the interview workflow to ensure a smooth, inclusive candidate journey.
• Track hiring metrics and use data to continuously improve recruiting outcomes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in tech, GTM or business recruiting, preferably at a high‑growth startup.
• Proven ability to source and engage exceptional talent.
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and a high bar for candidate experience.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid scaling.
