Foreign Trade Professional (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Foreign Trade Professional to lead our EXIM function at Bosch’s Pune office. The role involves managing end‑to‑end import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations, and driving cost‑effective logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement foreign trade strategies aligned with business objectives while ensuring full compliance with customs laws, FTP provisions, DGFT regulations, export control norms, sanctions and anti‑corruption statutes.
• Oversee end‑to‑end import and export processes, including documentation, customs clearance, freight movement and last‑mile coordination.
• Supervise international transportation (air/sea/road), customs house agent (CHA) coordination, warehousing and distribution, monitoring shipment timelines and freight cost optimization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, CHAs, transporters and global suppliers/customers, negotiating commercial terms and service level agreements.
• Analyze trade data, duty outflows, logistics costs and compliance metrics to identify optimization opportunities and drive process automation.
• Lead, mentor and develop the EXIM team to ensure operational excellence and audit readiness.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of hands‑on experience in international trade operations and EXIM compliance.
• Deep knowledge of customs regulations, DGFT, SEZ/STPI and export control frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven process improvement.

Required skills

• Customs clearance and EXIM documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, Certificates of Origin).
