About the role
The Food Server role at FISH DECK GOA is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Karnataka, India. You will greet guests, present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve dishes promptly and courteously.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders.
- Serve dishes in a timely and courteous manner.
- Set up and clear tables, and maintain a clean dining area.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and support teammates during busy periods.
- Handle basic billing and payment processes while checking on guest satisfaction.
Required profile
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food & beverage service practices and basic menu familiarity.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, stand for extended periods and manage multiple tasks.
- Reliability, attention to detail and a respectful, team‑oriented approach.
- Willingness to follow food safety, hygiene and company policies; local language skills and conversational English are an advantage.
