About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Associate will deliver professional F&B service to guests at Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient food and beverage service, greeting guests according to hotel standards.
• Take guest orders, advise on menu specials, and ensure accurate delivery of dishes.
• Inspect and set up operating equipment, linen, condiments, and table settings before service.
• Clear soiled chinaware, glassware, and silverware promptly and reset tables for the next guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and optimal resource use.
• Report equipment malfunctions, emergencies, or suspicious activities to the F&B Executive.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a branded hotel environment.
• Familiarity with hotel layout, fire exits, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and maintain a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in food and beverage service procedures.
• Knowledge of menu items and ability to recommend dishes.
• Basic understanding of equipment setup and maintenance.
