Food & Beverage Server (GSA)

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Food & Beverage Server (GSA) at our IA Project Road location in Mumbai. You will be the front‑line ambassador, delivering high‑quality dining experiences to guests in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages according to event type and service standards.
• Set tables, answer menu questions, and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders and process payments using the MICROS POS system.
• Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, including uniform standards and confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb unassisted and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move for an entire shift.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Accurate cash handling and transaction recording.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergy protocols.
