Food & Beverage Associate

About the role

The Food & Beverage Associate will ensure the smooth operation of dining areas at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Complete closing duties: store reusable items, break down goods, clean equipment, lock refrigerators, restock, turn off lights, and lock doors.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas; inspect china, glass, and silver for cleanliness before use.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report incidents, and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Greet guests courteously, answer phones with proper etiquette, and communicate clearly.
• Support team goals, build positive relationships, and respond to employee concerns.
• Adhere to quality standards and perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb.
• Capability to work on uneven or slippery surfaces and navigate stairs or ramps.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read small print.

Required skills

• Basic manual handling and fine motor coordination.
• Clear verbal communication in English.
• Understanding of hygiene and safety procedures.
