Food & Beverage Associate (Guest Service Expert)

About the role

As a Food & Beverage Associate at Marriott, you will be a key member of the Guest Service team, helping to create memorable dining experiences for guests. You will work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, ensuring that every interaction contributes to the brand’s promise of wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area.
• Communicate orders and special requests accurately with the kitchen staff.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Read and verify menu information, assist guests with menu selections.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting (up to 25 lb unassisted, 50 lb with assistance), pushing, pulling, and placing objects, and navigating uneven or slippery surfaces safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related work experience; no supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and to perform physical tasks safely.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety standards, and uniform guidelines.
