Food and Beverage Operations Manager

About the role

This full-time, on-site Food and Beverage Operations Manager position is based in Bengaluru. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth food service execution, effective staff scheduling, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including food service execution.
• Create and manage staff schedules to meet service demand.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and local regulatory standards.
• Monitor service quality and drive guest satisfaction.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly.
• Lead staff training, performance coaching, and development.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and cost-control processes.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate menu delivery.
• Optimize workflow and implement standard operating procedures.
• Track operational metrics and collaborate with leadership to support brand consistency and growth.

Required profile

• Strong customer-facing abilities with a focus on service excellence.
• Proven experience in operations management and process improvement.
• Hands-on background in food service or F&B operations within a restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and local regulatory compliance.
• Effective leadership, team management, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru with flexibility for weekends and peak hours.
• Solid organizational and time-management capabilities, including inventory and cost control.
• Diploma or degree in hospitality or restaurant management preferred; experience with South Indian or vegetarian concepts is a plus.
