Floor Lead, AFS Operations

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Lead for our AFS Operations in Bengaluru, India. As a Floor Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high‑quality standards in our advanced manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of production operators, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise production schedules and workflow.
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of quality‑control processes and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication skills.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma (certification preferred).
• Proficiency with manufacturing software and tools.
