Fitter – Manufacturing (Navi Mumbai)

About the role

Vinsak is a technology-driven manufacturing company offering advanced packaging, printing and retail solutions. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai and is looking for an experienced Fitter to join its production team.

Key responsibilities

• Follow assembly schedules and assemble components according to drawings and BOM with accuracy and speed.
• Identify and report defects or issues immediately and support machine dispatch timelines.
• Maintain assigned tools and measuring instruments, and operate workshop machines such as lathe, drilling and milling.
• Support on‑site troubleshooting and ensure timely machine dispatch.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: ITI – Fitter (Diploma preferred).
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in welding, fabrication and machine operation.
• Competencies: knowledge of assembly, drilling and tapping tools; ability to read engineering drawings; proficiency with basic measuring instruments.

Required skills

• Assembly of components per engineering drawings and bill of materials.
• Operation of lathe, drilling and milling machines.
• Use of drilling and tapping tools.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Utilisation of basic measuring instruments for quality checks.
