Fitter

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Fitter to install, maintain and repair mechanical machinery in an industrial environment. The successful candidate will ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting production continuity. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair mechanical machinery in industrial settings.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure optimal machinery performance.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
• Provide technical support to production staff and assist in planning preventive maintenance schedules.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar mechanical role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and effective troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
