Financial Reporting Manager (GB/G)

About the role

The GB/G Manager – Financial Reporting will lead and support the Financial Reporting team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for BASF group companies. The role combines supervision, process optimisation and compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Financial Reporting team members to meet service standards.
• Ensure delivery of reporting services in line with BASF policies, internal controls and local legal requirements.
• Monitor service timelines and quality, providing technical, process and systems support.
• Back‑up the team and perform hands‑on Financial Reporting tasks as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting within a large, multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, statutory compliance and group reporting standards.
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor team members.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across finance and HR functions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP/financial systems and reporting tools.
• Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
