Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist – Hyderabad

About the role

Join Deloitte's Global Finance team as a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist in Hyderabad. You will own end‑to‑end financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for assigned business units, while partnering with stakeholders across regions to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly and quarterly closing, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, including data collection, journal entries, variance analysis and timely reporting.
• Act as the primary finance liaison for profit centres, addressing stakeholder queries and ensuring transparent communication.
• Design, automate and maintain advanced financial models, databases and dashboards to analyse expenses, headcount, travel and other cost drivers.
• Develop subject‑matter expertise in SAP, Anaplan, Analysis for Office and advanced Excel, troubleshooting issues and driving system enhancements.
• Identify data or process gaps, quantify impact and propose practical remediation.
• Mentor junior analysts, review their deliverables and support onboarding.
• Collaborate with Global Finance colleagues on automation initiatives and digital transformation projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership potential and experience guiding junior team members.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering high‑quality, timely outputs.
