Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will support Accenture's Finance Operations vertical by collecting operational data, conducting analysis, and reconciling transactions to determine financial outcomes. The role involves financial planning, reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting to aid strategic business decisions. You will also contribute to scenario modeling and performance reporting to enhance the company's financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze operational data and reports for financial outcomes.
• Perform variance analysis and reconcile transactions during period‑end close.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Develop financial reports, metrics and dashboards for management.
• Assist in scenario modeling and performance reporting activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather financial inputs.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, controllership or core finance.
• Experience with period‑end close, annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work night or flexi shifts in a 3rd‑party culture.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with SAP and SAP HANA.
• Financial modeling in Excel.
