Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will support Tata Communications by turning financial and non‑financial data into actionable insights. You will help shape the company’s financial strategy through rigorous analysis, forecasting and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical financial and non‑financial data to identify trends and forecast future performance.
• Perform MIS variance analysis of actuals versus plan/outlook and provide clear commentary.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare the annual operating plan and periodic revenue and cost forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather business insights.
• Deliver ad‑hoc projects within agreed timelines.
• Handle large data sets and produce meaningful analysis.
• Apply accounting standards, cash‑flow and balance‑sheet knowledge in daily tasks.

Required profile

• CA or MBA (Finance) degree.
• 1‑4 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A or related fields.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage confidential information.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Power BI (advantageous).
• SQL database handling (advantageous).
• Financial modeling and data analysis.
