Financial Controller – US GAAP & IFRS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead controllership, accounting and reporting functions across our multinational operations. The role will ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and local statutory requirements while supporting finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of entity financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Oversee accounting streams including General Ledger, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Asset Management and Project Accounting.
• Manage statutory reporting, direct and indirect taxes, legal compliance and corporate secretarial duties.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities, banks and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct post‑cost analysis, standard costing benchmarking and key financial metrics such as MBR, Flash, FCF and DPO.
• Support FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain Finance and AR/Collections to improve working capital.
• Perform SOX documentation reviews and controls testing across core cycles (RTR, PTP, OTC, IPPS).
• Lead system automation projects, including capex payment workflows and Oracle Manufacturing module implementations.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and ensure compliance with direct tax regulations.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with at least 10 years of post‑qualification experience in an MNC or manufacturing environment.
• 8–10 years of proven experience in a controllership or senior financial management role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, local tax regulations, VAT and corporate secretarial frameworks.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to meet tight deadlines independently.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Hyperion, Oracle or SAP ERP modules.
• Experience implementing Oracle Manufacturing module projects.
• Proficiency in ERP‑driven cost analysis and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with SOX controls testing and audit coordination.
