Financial Controller – Shared Service India (Division Controlling)

About the role

The Financial Controller will join the Shared Service Controlling team to support division controlling through high‑quality financial planning, reporting and analysis. The role focuses on data integrity, process improvement and automation across budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure and monitor data quality in all controlling processes, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost‑center management.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports and performance indicators for the division.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality standards and control mechanisms for financial data.
• Identify, analyse and document data discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with local and international stakeholders to harmonise and optimise controlling processes.
• Maintain and analyse financial data in SAP R/3, AFO and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Support monthly and annual financial closings with a focus on data integrity.
• Produce ad‑hoc analyses and reports to support management decision‑making.

Required profile

• University degree in Procurement, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A or Finance.
• Strong analytical ability and a proven track record of ensuring data quality.
• High level of personal responsibility, structured work approach and a drive for continuous process improvement.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA or SAP R/3 (SAP FICO preferred)
• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) – optional but advantageous
• Advanced Excel for financial reporting and analysis
