Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will be a key member of the executive team, overseeing the company’s financial health, strategic planning, and treasury activities. This senior position reports to the board and collaborates closely with operational teams to drive efficiency across the mills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with long‑term business goals and lead financial planning.
• Oversee preparation, approval, and presentation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts and MIS reports.
• Manage cash flow, expense control, tax strategy and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor risk profile, legal issues and maintain robust internal control systems.
• Lead investor relations, represent the company with bankers and raise capital for expansion.
• Supervise the finance and accounting teams, ensuring accurate statutory reporting in SAP FI.
• Coordinate audits (statutory, tax, cost, internal) and ensure timely filing of tax returns.

Required profile

• Professional qualification: CA, CPA or CMA.
• Minimum 10 years of financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or textile sectors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP FI (ERP) modules.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience in MIS reporting and tax compliance.
