Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our multinational technology services business in India. The role will oversee financial performance, reporting, budgeting and act as a trusted partner for commercial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage P&L, balance‑sheet integrity, cost‑center accounting and cash‑flow analysis.
• Establish and enforce internal financial controls, policies and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and highlight key financial trends.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, building dynamic financial models.
• Provide analytical insights on overheads, operational expenditure, cost structures and profitability drivers.
• Collaborate with regional and global Finance, Operations, Commercial and Leadership teams, translating complex data for non‑financial stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external audit processes.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non‑financial audiences.
• Deep expertise in financial principles, GAAP/IFRS standards and general‑ledger accounting.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial modeling and controlling frameworks.
