Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic finance leader to head the end‑to‑end finance function for our hotel operations. You will own accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and internal controls while acting as a strategic partner to operational leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full accounting and financial lifecycle for hotel operations, ensuring accurate and timely month‑end and year‑end closures.
• Drive annual operating plans (AOP), monthly rolling forecasts, variance analysis and provide actionable insights to business leadership.
• Oversee treasury, fund planning, collections and working‑capital optimisation.
• Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and SOPs.
• Identify cost leakages, lead cost‑optimization initiatives and improve unit‑level profitability.
• Manage vendor evaluations, commercial negotiations and contract lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support fast‑paced, high‑growth operational setups.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7–8+ years post‑qualification experience.
• 2–3 years of proven leadership as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance or equivalent senior controllership role.
• Domain exposure in hospitality, retail, F&B or multi‑unit operations (preferred).
• Strong technical command over accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow and internal controls.
• Track record of driving operational efficiencies and boosting profitability.
• Demonstrated experience in vendor evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
• Excellent leadership, analytical problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Comfortable navigating fast‑paced, dynamic, high‑growth environments.
