Financial Controller

About the role

K P Namboodiri's Ayurvedics is building a data‑driven finance function from the ground up. As Financial Controller you will own the end‑to‑end finance processes that support cost, pricing and growth decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run a disciplined monthly financial closing process and standardise MIS reporting for leadership.
• Build SKU‑level costing frameworks, standard costing models and drive variance analysis to provide profitability insights by product and channel.
• Strengthen inventory tracking, reconciliation and ageing analysis to improve working‑capital visibility.
• Own day‑to‑day financial records, creating new processes and controls where gaps exist.
• Partner with sales, marketing, manufacturing and supply‑chain teams to turn numbers into actionable decisions and support business reviews.
• Recruit, train and develop a finance team, fostering a culture of discipline and ownership.

Required profile

• 8–14 years of finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong background in financial reporting, costing and operational finance.
• Comfortable with financial modelling and finance systems.
• CA or CMA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
• Fluency in Malayalam or Tamil.
