Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the finance function for Skylar Tirupati, a premium hotel in Tirupati. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for overseeing daily financial operations and delivering accurate, timely financial information to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cash flows, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate general‑ledger entries.
• Prepare, review and present financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and applicable accounting standards.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and support internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial performance, identify cost‑optimization opportunities and provide insights for revenue growth.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on strategic planning, risk management and long‑term financial stability.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in finance, accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end financial processes, budgeting, forecasting and cost control, preferably in hospitality or service‑oriented environments.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity and communication skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
