Financial Controller

About the role

Our client, a well‑backed D2C brand in the FMCG sector, is scaling rapidly and seeks a Financial Controller to own end‑to‑end controllership. Based in Gurugram, you will build scalable financial processes in a high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, accounting closures, and controllership activities.
• Manage P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, MIS, and variance analysis.
• Drive taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and internal controls.
• Partner with business teams on budgeting, cost optimisation, and financial insights.
• Improve processes, automation, and ERP‑driven workflows.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with approximately 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong expertise in Ind AS, taxation, compliance, and audit management.
• Experience in startup or high‑growth environments preferred.
• Proven stakeholder management and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Exposure to D2C, consumer, or FMCG businesses is an advantage.
