Financial Controller

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing D2C brand in the FMCG sector, is looking for a Financial Controller to lead end‑to‑end controllership. You will design and implement scalable financial processes that support rapid growth while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, accounting closures, and overall controllership activities.
• Manage P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, MIS, and variance analysis.
• Drive taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and internal controls.
• Partner with business teams on budgeting, cost optimisation and provide financial insights.
• Improve processes through automation and ERP‑driven workflows.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with approximately 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong expertise in Ind AS, taxation, compliance and audit management.
• Experience in startup or high‑growth environments is preferred.
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and drive cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Exposure to D2C, consumer or FMCG businesses is an added advantage.
