Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Controller to lead our finance function in a fast‑growing organic produce company. The role involves overseeing accounting, budgeting, reporting and providing strategic financial insights to support business expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and reporting
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation, and audit requirements
• Handle GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
• Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures
• Monitor cost structures and identify areas for financial efficiency
• Support leadership with financial insights for strategic decision‑making
• Supervise and guide the finance and accounts team

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (CA / MBA Finance preferred)
• 4–8 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in FMCG, agriculture or supply‑chain environments
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation (GST, TDS) and compliance
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills
