Financial Controller – Hybrid (Bengaluru)

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with over four years of post‑qualification experience to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing ERP software startup. The role is hybrid, based in Bommanahalli, Bengaluru, and offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership to build scalable finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, GL, payroll and month‑end close.
• Prepare and present MIS, management reports and business insights for leadership review.
• Lead statutory reporting, tax compliance (Income Tax, GST, TDS) and treasury functions, managing cash flow and banking relationships.
• Design and implement scalable finance systems, SOPs and reporting structures aligned with rapid growth.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure financial governance and support commercial decision‑making.
• Drive automation, process efficiency and data‑driven reporting across finance operations.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of experience post‑qualification.
• Experience in a high‑growth SaaS or startup environment; prior exposure to Big 4/Big 6 is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and ability to work under fast‑paced conditions.
• Proven ability to lead and manage finance teams.
