Financial Controller – Finance Leader for Global E‑Commerce Platform

About the role

As the Finance Controller at NAAR, you will shape the financial strategy and operational excellence of a rapidly scaling social e‑commerce platform, overseeing all financial activities across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with NAAR’s global expansion objectives.
• Oversee comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure fiscal discipline.
• Manage all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and financial reporting.
• Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations, taxation laws, and audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive vendor negotiations and implement cost‑optimization initiatives to maximize profitability.
• Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead the adoption and integration of advanced finance systems and technologies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance, accounting, or financial operations experience, preferably in e‑commerce or high‑growth technology environments.
• Proven expertise in vendor negotiation and contract management.
• Experience managing multi‑country finance operations and ensuring compliance.
• CA qualification is mandatory; CPA or CFA certifications are advantageous.
