Financial Controller (Finance & Accounts)

About the role

StayVista is looking for a Financial Controller to join its Finance & Accounts team in Mumbai. You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving profitability analysis, and supporting strategic decisions for our fast‑growing hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly MIS and comprehensive financial reports.
• Analyse profitability, business performance and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Manage receivables, cash flow and ensure timely month‑end closures.
• Reconcile financial accounts and maintain accurate records.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling activities.
• Provide data‑driven insights for strategic business decisions.
• Assist Owner and Guest Management as required.
• Drive property‑level monthly MIS, cost‑saving initiatives, receipt follow‑up, and account reconciliation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 0‑1 years of experience in MIS, FP&A, budgeting or finance controlling.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Effective communication abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial modeling).
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and Tally.
• Proficiency with financial reporting tools.
