Financial Controller – Europe (Hybrid, Bengaluru)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller to join our European Financial Controlling team from our Bengaluru office. Working in a hybrid model, you will partner with stakeholders across multiple European countries, ensuring accurate reporting, strong compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own balance‑sheet and P&L reporting for European legal entities, guaranteeing IFRS compliance.
• Lead month‑end close activities, providing insights on overheads, cash flow and performance.
• Drive financial control, governance and statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit support.
• Partner with Regional Financial Controllers, Commercial Finance, Treasury, Tax, Supply Chain and Group Finance teams.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement initiatives, including R2R transformation, automation and standardisation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Financial Controlling, Record‑to‑Report or Plant Controlling within a multinational environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting and external audits.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA; familiarity with BlackLine is a plus.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
