Financial Controller – CA/ACCA (Hybrid, UK Shift)

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead end‑to‑end financial management for a leading multinational KPO, ensuring accurate reporting, strong governance, and effective financial planning. Working on a hybrid schedule with a UK‑based shift, you will partner with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and financial planning across the business.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, manage month‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations and accruals.
• Provide variance analysis, financial modelling and performance insights to senior management.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity planning and working‑capital optimisation.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions and effective credit control.
• Assist statutory audit activities, ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and internal policies, and strengthen internal controls.
• Build strong relationships with senior management and operational teams, presenting financial information clearly to both finance and non‑finance audiences.

Required profile

• CA or ACCA qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience in a UK‑region role.
• Ability to work UK shift hours (12:30 – 22:00/23:30 IST) on a hybrid basis.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close, cash‑flow management and audit coordination.
