Financial Analyst – Regulatory Reporting

About the role
The Regulatory Reporting team at American Express prepares and files Bank Holding Company regulatory reports required by the Federal Reserve. This position supports the External Reporting function, focusing on liquidity reporting (FR2052a) and the implementation of new regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in Project Fast Forward and Bank Category Change Readiness for Category II bank.
- Coordinate implementation of changes on the automated platform R2CE (Regulatory Reporting Calculation Engine).
- Prepare and file Liquidity reporting (FR2052a) to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and other regulators.
- Provide updates to senior leadership and support progress reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Reserve and internal review procedures.
- Support automation and simplification projects for regulatory report preparation.
- Assist managers and directors in responding to inquiries from the Federal Reserve, GCO, and other regulators.
Required profile
- Experience with regulatory reporting and familiarity with Federal Reserve requirements.
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Use of the Regulatory Reporting Calculation Engine (R2CE) platform.
