Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the plant finance function by delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control. You will work closely with plant operations and the corporate finance team to ensure compliance, drive efficiency, and provide insights that influence business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and structure data for monthly financial reporting for EM Plants and the Head Office finance team.
• Prepare, review, and discuss financial reports, cost variances, yield losses, and key performance indicators with plant leadership.
• Ensure accurate GL reconciliation, manage scrap loss accounting, and support statutory and internal audit requirements, including SOX compliance.
• Drive the annual budgeting process, upload budgets into SAP, and monitor performance against forecasts.
• Maintain strong internal controls, validate external invoices, and provide indirect tax support.
• Identify and implement process automation and digital tools to improve financial planning and reporting.

Required profile

• CA, CWA, or MBA (Finance) qualification.
• 2‑6 years of experience in plant finance, manufacturing finance, or a related consulting role.
• Solid understanding of CPG or manufacturing operations and cost optimization.
• Experience with SOX, statutory audits, and financial control frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset and high integrity.
