Financial Analyst II – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst II to join the ASSPL Finance Team. In this role you will support Amazon’s Transportation Network Operations by building and automating financial models that drive cost‑saving decisions and long‑range planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial analysis models that influence operational decisions across the Amazon network.
• Lead cost‑out initiatives and contribute to long‑range planning, annual budgets and forecasts.
• Automate existing models and tools to support scale‑up of transportation network planning and cost management.
• Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly variance analysis, reporting and results management.
• Evaluate and improve core business methodologies, tools and processes.
• Collaborate with operations teams to drive productivity improvements and cost‑saving projects.
• Facilitate financial review meetings with key business partners.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) or an MBA.
• 3+ years of experience in finance, tax or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of experience creating process improvements through automation and analysis.
• 3+ years of experience identifying, leading and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools.
