Financial Analyst – Controllership & Tax (Bangalore)

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to lead Controllership and Tax compliance activities within our global Finance organization. The role is based in Bangalore and will work closely with Controllership, Tax, auditors and external consultants to ensure accurate statutory reporting and tax filings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information for complex direct tax compliance requirements.
• Prepare complex US GAAP tax provision calculations.
• Manage relationships between Tax, Controllership, and external tax consultants.
• Supply data required for corporate income tax returns and transfer pricing documentation.
• Lead review processes with stakeholders including auditors and tax teams.
• Mentor junior team members and handle conflict resolution.
• Drive optimization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure robust controls for data accuracy.
• Deliver regular progress updates to management.

Required profile

• Finance professional, Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8‑10 years of experience.
• Background in financial management, internal audit, accounting or related fields.
• Strong accounting and tax domain knowledge.
• Ability to work under stringent deadlines.
• Effective communicator with strong business acumen.
