Financial Accountant – Record to Report

About the role

We are looking for a senior Financial Accountant to lead the Record‑to‑Report function across multiple entities. The role will own the monthly consolidation, close processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the monthly consolidated financial close, working with accounting teams from various entities.
• Oversee sub‑ledger and general‑ledger reconciliations, ensuring staff are trained and deadlines are met.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, determine working‑capital requirements and fund daily operations.
• Analyse balance‑sheet, income‑statement and cash‑flow submissions, performing variance analysis.
• Manage fixed‑assets, intercompany accounting, ageing and reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal‑control adherence and regulatory reporting.
• Produce forex‑hedging forecasts and collaborate with Treasury to mitigate FX risk.
• Maintain the consolidation framework, chart of accounts mapping and internal documentation.
• Support internal and external auditors and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, including senior‑level general‑ledger and consolidation work.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting or MBA (Finance); CA qualification preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work independently and within a team.
